Abstract

The rapid digital transformation in organizations highlights the need for a deep understanding of digital literacy and leadership to ensure sustainable development. This study systematically reviews the literature on digital literacy and leadership to identify key characteristics, challenges, and strategies essential for success in a technology-driven era. By analyzing 25 peer-reviewed articles, the paper examines the crucial role digital leadership plays in fostering digital literacy within organizations, emphasizing its impact on productivity, innovation, and employee empowerment. The review reveals that effective digital leadership not only facilitates the integration of digital tools but also empowers employees to build essential digital competencies. Leaders who combine technical expertise with a strategic vision can drive organizational growth, enhance adaptability, and promote a culture of continuous learning. However, challenges such as resistance to change, skill gaps, and resource constraints must be addressed to ensure the successful implementation of digital initiatives. The findings contribute to the growing body of research on the relationship between digital leadership and organizational success. They offer valuable insights into how digital leaders can shape organizational outcomes by promoting digital literacy and fostering an environment conducive to innovation. Additionally, the review underscores the need for further research to explore digital leadership in diverse sectors and cultural contexts, advancing our understanding of its impact on organizational performance and development.
