Author Guidelines

The International Multidisciplinary Journal of Research for Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence (IMJRISE) welcomes submissions that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in a variety of disciplines. We are committed to upholding high standards in academic publishing and request that authors adhere to the following guidelines to ensure quality and consistency across all published works.

1. Manuscript Preparation

  • Language: All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.
  • Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Word format. Follow the journal’s template, ensuring proper font style, size, margins, and spacing as outlined.
  • Sections: Manuscripts should typically include the following sections: Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References (for specifics, refer to our “Template/Outline” section).
  • Length: Manuscripts should generally be 3,000–7,000 words, including tables, figures, and references.

2. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract: Provide an informative abstract of 150-250 words that summarizes the purpose, methodology, findings, and implications of the research.
  • Keywords: List 4–6 keywords that best represent the content of the paper.

3. Referencing Style

  • All references must follow APA 7th edition style. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their references.

4. Figures and Tables

  • Ensure all figures and tables are clear and labeled. Each figure/table should be numbered and referenced within the text.
  • High-resolution images should be submitted in JPEG or PNG format as separate files if needed.

5. Plagiarism Policy

  • IMJRISE does not tolerate plagiarism. Manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software. A similarity index of less than 20% is acceptable, excluding references.

6. Ethics and Conflicts of Interest

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and confirm that their work adheres to ethical standards in research. If the research involves human or animal subjects, appropriate ethical approvals should be provided.

7. Submission and Review Process

  • Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s submission portal or by email to editor@risejournals.org.
  • Submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process, typically taking 1–2 weeks. Final decisions will be communicated within 3–4 weeks from submission.

8. Author Fees

  • An Article Processing Charge (APC) of $50 USD applies to international authors. IMJRISE waives APCs for public basic education student research in the Philippines and for student research from selected partner institutions.

9. Revisions and Resubmission

  • Authors may be required to revise and resubmit their manuscript following peer review. Revised manuscripts should include a response letter addressing all reviewer comments.

10. Copyright and Licensing

  • IMJRISE follows the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, allowing authors to retain copyright while permitting unrestricted sharing and adaptation with proper attribution.
