Template/Outline
The International Multidisciplinary Journal of Research for Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence (IMJRISE) requires the following sections for different types of research papers. Authors should organize their manuscripts according to the following structure to ensure adherence to academic standards and facilitate the peer review process:
For Qualitative Research Papers
(e.g., Phenomenological Research, Case Study, Ethnographic Research, Grounded Theory)
- Abstract: A concise summary of the study’s purpose, methodology, key findings, and implications.
- Introduction: Introduces the research problem, objectives, and significance of the study.
- Literature Review: Summarizes relevant studies and situates the research within the existing literature.
- Methodology: Details the qualitative approach, data collection, and analysis methods.
- Findings: Presents the core results, themes, or patterns discovered during analysis.
- Discussion: Interprets the findings in the context of the research question and literature.
- Conclusion: Summarizes the study’s main contributions, limitations, and implications.
- References: Lists all cited sources following APA 7th edition format.
For Qualitative Experimental Research
- Abstract: Overview of the study's purpose, methods, and primary results.
- Introduction: Describes the research question, objectives, and importance of the study.
- Literature Review: Discusses relevant prior studies and theoretical background.
- Materials and Methods: Outlines the experimental design, materials, and data collection process.
- Results: Summarizes the key findings from the experiment.
- Findings: Expands on the data results and any patterns or observations.
- Discussion: Analyzes the findings, linking them to the research objectives and prior work.
- Conclusion: Highlights the contributions and practical implications.
- References: Complete list of sources cited, following APA format.
For Quantitative Research
(Descriptive, Correlational)
- Abstract: Briefly states the study’s purpose, methods, main results, and implications.
- Introduction: Provides background information, research objectives, and significance.
- Literature Review: Reviews existing research and theories relevant to the study.
- Methodology: Describes the quantitative approach, sampling, and data analysis methods.
- Results: Presents the findings, including statistical analysis.
- Discussion: Interprets the results within the context of the research question and existing literature.
- Conclusion: Summarizes the findings, limitations, and practical implications.
- References: Includes all referenced sources in APA format.
For Quantitative Research
(Causal-Comparative, Experimental, Quasi-experimental)
- Abstract: A concise summary of the research objectives, methodology, and key findings.
- Introduction: Introduces the study’s background, problem statement, and objectives.
- Literature Review: Summarizes pertinent studies and theoretical framework.
- Materials and Methods: Details the experimental design, sampling, and analytical methods.
- Results: Provides a summary of the quantitative results and analyses.
- Discussion: Interprets the data findings, discussing their relevance and implications.
- Conclusion: Highlights the study's contributions and suggests areas for further research.
- References: Complete list of all cited works, formatted in APA style.
