Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief has overall responsibility for the vision, direction, and quality of the journal. He makes final decisions on manuscripts, ensures the integrity of the peer review process, sets editorial policies, and leads the journal's growth. He also liaises with the editorial board and authors to maintain academic standards and uphold the journal’s reputation. The Editor-in-Chief must have a 30 h-index and 30 i10 index to ensure a strong research background and leadership in academic publishing.
Deputy Editor-in-Chief
Assists the Editor-in-Chief in overseeing the journal's editorial direction and maintaining publication quality. In the absence of the Editor-in-Chief, he takes charge of the editorial process, making critical decisions regarding manuscript acceptance. Collaboration with the editorial team is essential for implementing policies and ensuring timely communication with authors and reviewers. The Deputy Editor-in-Chief also leads initiatives for journal growth and development while upholding high standards of academic integrity throughout the publication process. Additionally, they must have at least a 20 h-index and a 20 i10 index, demonstrating substantial academic contributions and impact. This role is crucial for ensuring continuity and leadership within the editorial team.
Managing Editors
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the journal, including manuscript submission tracking, author communication, and deadline management. They collaborate closely with the editorial team to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to publication schedules. Unlike the Editor-in-Chief, their focus is primarily on operational efficiency and logistics, coordinating with various stakeholders for timely issue publication. Additionally, Managing Editors must have at least a 10 h-index and a 10 i10 index, reflecting their established academic contributions and impact in their respective fields.
Editors
Oversee the editorial process, maintain the journal’s direction, and ensure submission quality. Editors of the International Multidisciplinary Journal of Research for Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence (IMJRISE) must be centicited authors—authors with at least 100 citations. This requirement ensures that editors have a proven academic impact and are established contributors to their fields, allowing them to uphold the highest standards of scholarly work within the journal.
Associate Editors
Assist in managing the peer review process by selecting appropriate reviewers and offering expertise in specialized areas. They provide recommendations and feedback but do not make final publication decisions, a key distinction from Editors. Associate Editors must have at least 50 citations, demonstrating their experience and expertise within their discipline. This ensures they can critically evaluate submissions and support the journal’s standards. Their role complements the broader oversight and decision-making responsibilities of the Editor.
Reviewers
Reviewers critically evaluate submitted manuscripts, providing detailed and constructive feedback to ensure academic rigor. Unlike Associate Editors, reviewers focus solely on the content’s validity, methodology, and contribution to the field, without involvement in the selection of reviewers or the operational editorial process. While they do not make decisions on publication, their recommendations significantly influence the editorial team’s choices. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in specific areas and must have at least 25 citations to ensure they possess a recognized level of academic contribution. Their role is crucial in maintaining the quality and integrity of the journal’s publications.
Editorial Candidates
Editorial Candidates are individuals applying for editorial roles but whose appointments are not yet confirmed hold the designation of Editorial Candidate. During this period, they may be involved in the peer review and editorial process under the supervision of senior editorial staff. Editorial Candidates are expected to familiarize themselves with the journal’s standards, editorial policies, and workflows. While they do not have decision-making authority, their insights and contributions during this period provide a foundation for their potential future role within the journal. This position allows them to demonstrate their expertise and readiness for a formal appointment, while the editorial board evaluates their qualifications and compatibility with the journal's vision and requirements.
