Data Sharing and Reproducibility Policy

The International Multidisciplinary Journal of Research for Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence (IMJRISE) is committed to promoting transparency, reproducibility, and open science. We encourage authors to share their research data and ensure their studies are reproducible to enhance the reliability and credibility of published work.

Data Sharing Policy

Authors are encouraged to make their research data publicly available whenever possible, subject to ethical and legal considerations.

  1. Data Availability Statement
Authors must include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript, indicating:

    • Whether the data is publicly available.
    • Where and how the data can be accessed (e.g., repository links, supplementary files).
    • Any restrictions or conditions for access.
  2. Preferred Data Repository
Authors are encouraged to deposit their data on ResearchGate, a widely recognized platform that facilitates academic sharing, collaboration, and long-term preservation of research outputs.

  3. Data Types
The journal supports sharing various types of data, including but not limited to:

    • Raw data used in analyses.
    • Processed data.
    • Code, algorithms, and scripts.
    • Protocols and methods.
  4. Data Citation
All shared data should be cited appropriately in the manuscript and reference list to acknowledge its contribution to the research.

Reproducibility Policy

Authors must ensure that their research methods and findings can be independently verified and reproduced by others.

  1. Methodological Transparency
Manuscripts must provide a detailed description of all methods, tools, and techniques used, including:

    • Experimental protocols.
    • Statistical analyses.
    • Software and code versions.
  2. Supplementary Information
Authors should provide any supplementary files necessary to replicate the study, such as:

    • Additional datasets.
    • Detailed workflows.
    • Instrument calibration details.
  3. Code and Software Sharing
Authors are encouraged to share code and software used in their research. Open-source repositories or personal project pages on ResearchGate are recommended.

  4. Replication Studies
IMJRISE welcomes replication studies and encourages authors to submit research that independently verifies or challenges existing findings.

Exceptions and Ethical Considerations

  1. Confidential or Sensitive Data
Data that includes personally identifiable information or sensitive content must comply with relevant privacy and ethical guidelines. Authors should anonymize data where necessary or explain access restrictions in their Data Availability Statement.

  2. Legal Restrictions
Data sharing is not mandatory if it conflicts with legal, contractual, or ethical obligations. Authors must clearly explain these limitations.

Editorial Review and Compliance

  • Submitted manuscripts may be reviewed for adherence to the journal’s data sharing and reproducibility policies.
  • Authors may be asked to provide access to data or code during the review process.
