Publication Ethics

The International Multidisciplinary Journal of Research for Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence (IMJRISE) upholds the highest standards of ethics in publishing, ensuring integrity and transparency throughout the editorial and peer review processes. Our publication ethics are aligned with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All contributors, including authors, reviewers, and editors, are expected to adhere to the following ethical principles:

  1. Authors’ Responsibilities:

    • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must submit only original work and properly attribute sources and ideas. Plagiarism, in any form, is strictly prohibited, and all submissions are checked for originality.
    • Authorship: Only individuals who have made significant contributions to the research and writing process should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.
    • Data Integrity: Authors should ensure the accuracy of their data and present findings truthfully without falsification or fabrication.
    • Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work, including funding sources and institutional affiliations.
  2. Reviewers’ Responsibilities:

    • Confidentiality: Reviewers must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and not disclose any information to third parties.
    • Objectivity and Fairness: Reviews should be conducted objectively, providing constructive feedback that is free from personal bias.
    • Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from the review process if necessary.
  3. Editors’ Responsibilities:

    • Decision-Making: Editors are responsible for making unbiased and fair publication decisions based on the academic merit, relevance, and quality of the research.
    • Integrity and Confidentiality: Editors must ensure the confidentiality of submissions and should not disclose any information about a manuscript to anyone other than the authors, reviewers, and potential reviewers.
    • Conflict of Interest: Editors must declare any potential conflicts of interest and take steps to prevent such conflicts from influencing editorial decisions.
  4. Handling of Ethical Concerns:

    • Corrections and Retractions: IMJRISE is committed to correcting or retracting published articles when substantial errors or ethical issues are identified. Retractions or corrections will be made publicly and promptly.
    • Misconduct Investigation: In cases of suspected ethical misconduct, IMJRISE follows COPE’s guidelines for investigating and resolving issues, including potential plagiarism, falsification, or duplicate publication. We work transparently with authors, reviewers, and relevant institutions to address such issues appropriately.

By submitting to IMJRISE, authors, reviewers, and editors agree to uphold these ethical principles, ensuring the journal remains a trusted source of high-quality, credible research. IMJRISE reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including retracting publications or barring submissions, to maintain ethical standards in academic publishing.
