Submit Special Issue Proposal

The International Multidisciplinary Journal of Research for Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence (IMJRISE) welcomes proposals for special issues that align with the journal's mission and scope. All proposals are subject to evaluation and approval by the Editor-in-Chief to ensure they meet the journal's high standards and relevance.


What Are Special Issues?

Special issues are dedicated collections of articles that focus on a specific theme, emerging area of research, or multidisciplinary topic of significant importance. They aim to:

  • Address timely and innovative topics in depth.
  • Foster collaboration among researchers across fields.
  • Highlight groundbreaking advancements and novel methodologies.

Special issues provide a platform for scholars to contribute high-impact research that influences academic and practical discussions.


Responsibilities of Guest Editors for the Special Issue

Guest Editors play a crucial role in the success of special issues. Their responsibilities include:

  1. Proposal Development: Crafting a clear, detailed proposal that outlines the significance and scope of the special issue.
  2. Call for Papers: Preparing and disseminating a call for papers to attract high-quality submissions.
  3. Editorial Oversight:
    • Ensuring that submitted manuscripts fit the special issue theme.
    • Collaborating with the journal's editorial team to maintain high standards.
  4. Peer Review Process:
    • Identifying and inviting reviewers with relevant expertise.
    • Managing the review process, ensuring fairness and constructive feedback.
  5. Adherence to Best Practices:
    • Upholding ethical standards, including conflict of interest and plagiarism policies.
    • Ensuring transparency and timely communication with authors and reviewers.
  6. Final Decisions: Recommending acceptance or rejection of manuscripts to the Editor-in-Chief, who makes the final publication decisions.

Peer Review and Best Practices

IMJRISE follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure objectivity and quality. Guest Editors are expected to adhere to the following best practices:

  • Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of submissions and the review process.
  • Impartiality: Avoid biases and conflicts of interest.
  • Timeliness: Adhere to the agreed-upon timeline for the special issue to ensure timely publication.

Proposal Submission Process

Special Issue proposals should include the following details:

  1. Title: A concise and descriptive title for the special issue.
  2. Rationale and Objectives: Explain the significance of the topic and how it aligns with the journal's scope.
  3. Scope and Themes: Define the key topics or questions the issue will address.
  4. Guest Editors: Provide names, affiliations, and short biographies of the Guest Editors.
  5. Potential Contributors: List potential authors or organizations that may contribute.
  6. Timeline: Suggest a proposed schedule for submission, peer review, and publication.
