This study explores the influence of the Matatag curriculum on history and geography education for the school year 2024-2025. Using qualitative methods, particularly Focused Group Discussions (FGD) and In-Depth Interviews (IDI), the research gathered insights from stakeholders in elementary education. The analysis revealed that the Matatag curriculum had significant positive effects, such as increased awareness of critical issues, enhanced understanding, and better contextualization of lessons. However, the study also identified challenges in implementation, resource limitations, and varied impacts across learning environments. The findings suggest the curriculum promotes holistic student development while recommending continued support for educators to achieve optimal outcomes.
