Mga Salik sa Paaralan at Akademikong Pagganap ng mga Mag-aaral sa Filipino

Ang akademikong pagganap ay isang mahalagang sukatan ng tagumpay sa paaralan at isang indikasyon ng kahandaan sa hinaharap ng mga mag-aaral. Ang pag-aaral na ito ay tumutukoy sa mga salik sa paaralan at akademikong pagganap ng mga mag-aaral sa Filipino. Ang disenyong ginamit sa kwantitatibong pag-aaral ay descriptive correlational. Ang mga respondente sa pag-aaral na ito ay ang 170 na mga mag-aaral sa ikapitong baitang hanggang ikasampung baitang ng Junior High School na pinili sa pamamagitan ng stratified random sampling. Gumamit ang mananaliksik ng limang puntong likert-scale questionnaire bilang instrumento sa pagtitipon ng mga datos. Natuklasan sa pananaliksik na ito na ang mga salik sa paaralan ay lubos na nakaaapekto sa pagganap ng mga mag-aaral. Ang akademikong pagganap ng mga mag-aaral ay nasa lebel na mahusay. May makabuluhang kaugnayan ang mga salik sa paaralan at akademikong pagganap ng mag-aaral. Ang interes sa pag-aaral ng wika ay ang predictor sa akademikong pagganap sa Filipino, ang mga mag-aaral na mas interesado sa wika ay kadalasang nakakukuha ng mas mataas na marka sa mga pagsusulit at mas aktibong nakikilahok sa mga talakayan at gawain sa klase. Inirerekomenda ng pag-aaral na gumamit ang mga guro ng makabagong pamamaraan at palawakin ang kasanayan sa pagtuturo, gayundin magtulungan ang guro at mga mag-aaral upang makalikha ng isang positibong kapaligiran at maging mas makabuluhan ang talakayan sa Filipino.
