Understanding student resilience has become increasingly important with the shift to online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This study determined the resilience levels in online learning modality nursing students in an online learning environment at a private, non-sectarian academic institution in Dasmarinas City, Cavite, Philippines, during the 2022-2023 academic year to inform the development of a wellness plan. One hundred thirty-eight (138) Level III and IV BS Nursing students were surveyed. The study used a descriptive research design and a researcher-made survey questionnaire. In the analysis of the results of the study, the researcher used descriptive and comparative procedures. For the statistical tools, frequency, percentage, mean, and Mann-Whitney U test were used. The level of resilience of nursing students in online learning modality according to self-awareness, mindfulness and positive relationship was “high.” Also results shows no significant difference in the level of resilience of nursing students in online learning modality in self-awareness, mindfulness, and positive relationship when grouped and compared according to age, year level, and average family monthly income. Result of this study calls for psychology education to integrate resilience-building strategies into the curriculum, for psychological practice to incorporate evidence-based resilience interventions into their clinical work, for psychological institutions to prioritize the well-being of students, faculty, and staff, and for psychological research to continue exploring the factors contributing to resilience across diverse populations and contexts to inform evidence-based interventions and practices.
