FACTORS INFLUENCING PARENT'S VIEW ON PRESCHOOLS' ADVANCED LEARNING IN VARIOUS INTEREST CLASSES

This study aimed to determine the factors influencing parents’ views on preschools' advanced learning in various interest classes regarding academic performance, child’s social development, health, and wellness, and economic factors. Moreover, this study aimed to find out whether or not significant differences exist in the following areas when the respondents are grouped and compared according to variables of age, sex, and average monthly family income. This study used descriptive research design to obtain information concerning the different areas cited and to describe what exists concerning other variables identified herein. Results show that the degree of influence of factors influencing parent's view on preschools' advanced learning in various interest classes according to academic performance, child’s social development, and health and wellness, all results are “high level” and for the economic factors is “very high level”. Comparative analysis revealed that there is no significant difference in the degree of influence of factors influencing parent's view on preschools' advanced learning in various interest classes when grouped and compared according to the aforementioned variables except for the variable of sex in the area of economic factor which is “significant.”
