Antas Ng Kahirapan ng mga Mag-Aaral sa Pagkatuto ng Idyomatikong Pahayag

Karaniwang ginagamit ang mga idyoma sa pang-araw-araw na komunikasyon ngunit ang pagkatuto ng mga idyoma, bilang isa sa mga uri ng matalinghagang pahayag, ay isang hamon sa mga mag-aaral lalo na sa mga mag-aaral na pangalawang wika o L2 ang wikang Filipino. Bilang pagsunod sa probisyon na nakasaad sa Konstitusyon ng Republika ng Pilipinas ng 1987 ay patuloy ang pagtuturo ng asignaturang Filipino sa mga paaralan na ang isa sa mga tunguhin ay ang makapagtamo ang mga mag-aaral ng katatasan sa paggamit ng wika Filipino. Kaya naman mahalagang matukoy ang antas ng kahirapan ng mga mag-aaral sa pagkatuto ng idyoma at mabigyan ng solusyon ang nakitang mga kahinaan.Nilayon ng pag-aaral na ito na matasa ang antas ng kahirapan ng mga mag-aaral sa pagkatuto ng idyomatikong pahayag bilang batayan ng pagpapaunlad ng kagamitang pampagtuturo, sa Ika-12 Baitang ng Senior High School mula sa isang unibersidad, sa Lungsod ng Bacolod, sa lalawigan ng Negros Occidental sa Taong Panuruan 2021-2022. Ang mga baryabol na kasangkot sa pag-aaral na ito ay ang kasarian, track, kabuuang buwanang kita ng mga magulang, at pinakamataas na antas na pinag-aralan ng mga magulang ng mga mag-aaral. Ginamitan ng deskriptibo disenyo ang pananaliksik at stratified random sampling upang makuha ang dalawang daan at tatlumpu’t walong (238) bilang ng mga mag-aaral na naging tagatugon sa pananaliksik na ito. Talatanungan na sariling gawa ng mga mananaliksik, na dumaan sa validity at reliability testing, ang instrumentong ginamit. Deskriptibong at komparatibong iskemang analitikal ang ginamit sa pagsusuri ng mga datos na nakalap, at iprinoseso gamit ang SPSS sa frequency count, percentage, mean, Mann-Whitney U test upang masagot ang mga layunin. Lumabas sa resulta na mababa ang antas ng kahirapan ng mga mag-aaral sa pagkatuto ng idyomatikong pahayag sa mga erya ng pagkilala, pagpapakahulugan, at paggamit ng idyoma. Mayroong makabuluhang pagkakaiba na umiiral sa antas ng kahirapan ng mga mag-aaral sa pagkilala ng idyoma kapag pinangkat at pinaghambing sa baryabol ng kasarian, track, at kabuuang buwanang kita ng mga magulang. Mayroon ding makabuluhang pagkakaiba na umiiral sa antas ng kahirapan ng mga mag-aaral sa pagpapakahulugan at paggamit ng idyoma kapag pinangkat at pinaghambing sa baryabol ng kasarian at track.
Bilang kongklusyon, masasabing hindi pa naaabot ang kabihasaan sa pagkatuto ng idyomatikong pahayag. Sa huling bahagi ng pananaliksik ay iminungkahing sumailalim sa idiom training ang mga guro sa Filipino upang madagdagan ang kanilang kaalaman hinggil sa mga pagbabagong maaaring gawin sa mga kagamitang pampagtuturo na maaaring gamitin sa pagtuturo ng idyoma.
