Abstract

This study examines the landscape of educational leadership in Singapore through a systematic literature review. Four key themes emerge: the emphasis on values-based leadership, strategic vision and adaptability, collaborative and inclusive leadership practices, and the emphasis on professional development and continuous learning. Scholars emphasize the importance of ethical leadership grounded in integrity, accountability, and social responsibility. Visionary leadership is essential for navigating changes in education, while collaborative practices promote inclusivity and teamwork. Moreover, continuous learning through professional development opportunities is crucial for enhancing leadership competencies. By synthesizing these findings, this study provides insights into the multifaceted nature of educational leadership in Singapore and highlights the importance of values, vision, collaboration, and ongoing learning in driving educational excellence and innovation. These insights contribute to the ongoing discourse on educational leadership in Singapore and provide a foundation for further research and initiatives in the field.
