EPEKTO NG CODE-SWITCHING SA AKADEMIKONG KAKAYAHAN NG MGA MAG-AARAL SA ASIGNATURANG FILIPINO

Layunin ng pag-aaral na ito na matukoy ang kabisaan ng paggamit ng code-switching o salitan na paggamit ng dalawang wika sa pagtuturo ng asignaturang Filipino para sa mga mag-aaral sa Baitang 11 ng Babag National High School–Senior High School sa taong panuruan 2024–2025. Gumamit ang pananaliksik ng dalawang grupo ng mag-aaral: ang isang grupo ay tinuruan gamit ang code-switching-experimental na grupo, habang ang isa ay gumamit ng kumbensyunal na paraan ng pagtuturo. Lumahok dito ang 60 mag-aaral mula sa strand na TVL-HE-Cookery. Ipinakita ng resulta na parehong grupo ay nagpakita ng pag-unlad matapos ang pagtuturo, ngunit mas naging mahusay ang mga mag-aaral na tinuruan gamit ang code-switching. Bukod dito, naging mas pare-pareho ang kanilang naging pagganap. Sa kabuuan, napatunayan ng pag-aaral na ang paggamit ng code-switching ay nakatutulong upang mas maintindihan ng mga mag-aaral ang aralin at mas mapalalim ang kanilang pakikilahok sa klase sa kadahilanang mas nakakapagpapahayag sila ng kanilang mga ideya at saloobin tungkol sa paksa. Inirerekomenda ng pag-aaral na isaalang-alang ito ng mga guro bilang isang mabisang paraan ng pagtuturo sa tukoy na mga kasanayan na mababa ang kompetensi.
