ANG PASULAT AT KOMUNIKATIBONG KAKAYAHAN NG MGA MAG-AARAL SA IKAPITONG BAITANG

Ang pag-aaral na ito ay tumutukoy sa pasulat at komunikasyong kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral sa Ikapitong Baitang ng Balamban National High School – Evening Opportunity Class. Layunin ng pag-aaral na matukoy ang ugnayan sa pagitan ng kasanayan sa pasulat na komunikasyon at kasanayan sa pagsulat ng mga mag-aaral, partikular sa aspeto ng balarila, bokabularyo, at pagbuo ng pangungusap. Ginamit ang deskriptibong-korelasyonal na disenyo ng pananaliksik, kung saan apatnapung (40) mag-aaral ang naging respondente. Ang mga datos ay kinolekta sa pamamagitan ng talatanungan at rubrik sa pagsusuri ng sanaysay, at sinuri gamit ang mean, standard deviation, Welch test, at Spearman's rho. Ang mga resulta ay nagpakita na ang mga mag-aaral ay may mababang marka sa lahat ng aspeto ng pasulat na komunikasyon, na may pangkalahatang mean score na 15.38 (51.3%) na nasa kategoryang Hindi Umaabot sa Inaasahan ("Did Not Meet Expectations"), partikular, ang pagbuo ng pangungusap ang may pinakamababang mean score (3.60), samantalang ang balarila ang may pinakamataas (6.68). Sa pagsusuri ng sanaysay, ang mga mag-aaral ay nakakuha ng mean score na 7.90, na nagpapakita ng kakulangan sa gramatika, organisasyon, at paggamit ng wika. Natukoy din na may makabuluhang ugnayan ang kasanayan sa pagsulat ng sanaysay sa komunikatibong kasanayang pasulat (rho = 0.569, p = 0.001), bokabularyo (rho = 0.519, p = 0.001), at pagbuo ng pangungusap (rho = 0.418, p = 0.007). Batay sa mga natuklasan, iminumungkahi ang pagpapatupad ng mga estratehiya tulad ng remedial instruction, writing workshops, at contextualized learning materials upang mapabuti ang pasulat at komunikasyong kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral. Ang pag-aaral ay nagbibigay ng mahalagang impormasyon para sa mga guro, administrador, at tagapagtaguyod ng kurikulum upang matugunan ang mga kahinaan at mapalakas ang kasanayan sa Filipino ng mga mag-aaral.
