Abstract

Ang ademikong pagsulat ay isa sa pangunahing kasanayan sa komunikasyon pasulat na mahalagang matutunan upang maging epektibo at makabuluhan ang pakikipag-ugnayan sa iba. Sa makabagong panahon ng digital na teknolohiya, ang paggamit ng generative AI upang mapabuti ang kasanayang ito ay nagiging mahalaga. Nilalayon ng pag-aaral na ito na palawakin ang umiiral na kaalaman ukol sa aplikasyon ng generative artificial intelligence (genAI) sa pag-unlad ng wika, partikular sa larangan ng akademikong pagsulat na isinagawa sa B. Durano Integrated School sa ilalim ng Departamento ng Edukasyon na Sangay ng Lungsod ng Danao. Ang pananaliksik na ito ay gumamit ng deskriptibong korelasyonal na disenyo upang maipakita ang pananaw at kaugnayan ng paggamit ng generative AI sa paglinang ng kasanayan sa pagsulat gamit ang Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Layunin ng pag-aaral na suriin ang mga salik na may impluwensiya sa paggamit ng generative AI habang tinitiyak ang pagiging pribado ng mga kalahok, pagtataguyod ng pagkapantay-pantay, at paglikha ng isang mapangalaga na kapaligiran para sa pananaliksik. Gamit ang jamovi software, sinuri ang mga datos na nakalap mula sa 124 na mag-aaral sa sekondarya sa pamamagitan ng isang online questionnaire. Batay sa isinagawang pag-aaral, lumitaw na positibo ang pananaw ng mga mag-aaral hinggil sa paggamit ng generative AI sa pagsusulat ng akademikong komposisyon sa Filipino. Nakita nilang ito ay kapaki-pakinabang at madaling gamitin, kaya’t umusbong din ang kanilang positibong saloobin at intensyon na gamitin ito sa mga gawaing akademiko. Gayunman, natuklasan ding hindi pa lubos ang kanilang aktwal na paggamit ng teknolohiyang ito na maaaring bunga ng kakulangan sa karanasan, kaalaman, at oportunidad. Napatunayan din na may ugnayan ang mga pananaw, saloobin, at intensyon ng mga mag-aaral sa kanilang aktwal na kilos. Samantala, ang saloobin at kadalian sa paggamit ay may mahalagang papel bilang tagapamagitan sa ugnayan ng nakikitang pakinabang ng generative AI at aktwal na paggamit nito. Sa kabuuan, ipinapakita ng pag-aaral na ang matagumpay na paggamit ng generative AI sa akademikong konteksto ay hindi lamang nakasalalay sa teknikal na kahusayan, kundi sa pagpapalakas ng positibong pananaw, saloobin, at suporta mula sa institusyon. Ang pagtutok sa mga salik na ito ay makatutulong upang higit na maging kapaki-pakinabang at epektibo ang generative AI bilang katuwang sa makabagong pagkatuto.
