This systematic review examines the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in higher education and its impact on student learning outcomes. Drawing from 27 scholarly sources, the study identifies core themes including technology acceptance, instructor and learner readiness, interaction and collaboration, and infrastructural challenges. The review is grounded in theoretical frameworks such as the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Findings indicate that LMS use enhances engagement and performance when institutional support, technological infrastructure, and digital literacy are present. However, challenges like power supply, platform usability, and resistance to adoption continue to limit LMS effectiveness. This review highlights strategic implications for educational institutions in optimizing LMS implementation to improve student learning outcomes.
