Abstract

This study assessed the entrepreneurial knowledge of BS Agribusiness and BS Agricultural Business graduates from four selected State Universities and Colleges in Central Luzon. Results showed that the respondents possessed a very high level of entrepreneurial knowledge, particularly in recognizing the role of entrepreneurship in job creation, innovation, and economic development. Further, this study highlights that career opportunity is the main reason for the respondents to pursue their degree and entrepreneurship education, which shows their full awareness of the role of entrepreneurship and its contribution, including the development of new products and services and engagement in business activities to economic growth. Similarly, the BS Agribusiness and BS Agricultural Business curricula effectively cultivated entrepreneurial competencies through experiential learning activities like internships and hands-on training. Nevertheless, respondents saw the need for increased experiential learning, higher levels of digital tool integration, and better access to mentorship and networking opportunities. These findings highlight the importance of refining entrepreneurship education to better prepare agribusiness graduates for real-world challenges.
