Abstract

This systematic literature review examines strategies for fostering a culture of continuous professional development (CPD) and learning within organizations. Drawing upon scholarly articles, empirical studies, theoretical frameworks, and practical insights, the study identifies key factors, trends, and challenges associated with promoting ongoing learning and skill enhancement among employees. Findings reveal a diverse range of strategies employed by organizations, including formal training programs, informal learning opportunities, leadership support, and technological interventions. Leadership emerges as a critical determinant of a culture of CPD, with effective leaders playing a pivotal role in shaping organizational learning climates. Additionally, the growing recognition of informal learning as a vital component of CPD underscores the importance of integrating diverse learning modalities. Moreover, the integration of technology offers significant opportunities to enhance accessibility, flexibility, engagement, and personalization in CPD initiatives. By synthesizing existing research and practical insights, this study provides valuable guidance for organizational leaders, HR professionals, and educators seeking to design and implement effective CPD initiatives to drive organizational success in today's dynamic business environment.
