Abstract

This systematic literature review explores the integration of the Learning Sciences Framework (LSF) in educational leadership, focusing on its impact on decision-making, instructional practices, and overall educational outcomes. The findings reveal a consistent positive influence on student engagement, academic performance, and learning experiences when the LSF is actively incorporated by educational institutions. Educational leaders guided by the LSF exhibit enhanced decision-making capacities, considering cognitive processes, prior knowledge, and socio-cultural contexts in choices related to instructional strategies, curriculum development, and technology integration. Despite the evident benefits, challenges in professional development and sustained implementation underscore the need for ongoing support and targeted programs for leaders. Furthermore, the review emphasizes the LSF's applicability across diverse educational levels, subject areas, and global contexts, highlighting its versatility for addressing the unique needs of different settings. This abstract encapsulates the transformative potential of the Learning Sciences Framework in guiding educational leaders toward evidence-based decision-making, effective instructional practices, and the creation of adaptive learning environments. The study contributes valuable insights to the field, offering a foundation for further research and reinforcing the LSF's significance in the dynamic landscape of educational leadership.
