AKADEMIKONG PAGGANAP NG MGA MAG-AARAL NG OPEN HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM SA PAMPUBLIKONG PAARALAN: ISANG ESTRATEHIYANG PLANO NG INTERBENSYON

Layunin ng pag-aaral na ito na matukoy ang ugnayan sa pagitan ng demographic profile at akademikong pagganap ng mga mag-aaral sa Grade 12 Open High School Program (OHSP) ng Babag National High School, Lapu-Lapu City para sa taong panuruan 2024–2025. Gumamit ang mananaliksik ng deskriptibong korelasyonal na disenyo na sinusuportahan ng kwalitatibong datos upang suriin ang kaugnayan ng mga demograpikong baryabol tulad ng edad, kasarian, katayuang sibil, at trabaho sa akademikong pagganap sa Ingles, Matematika, at Agham. Ipinakita ng resulta na karamihan sa mga kalahok ay kababaihan, may edad labinsiyam hanggang dalawampu’t isa, walang asawa, at walang trabaho. Bagama’t lahat ng mag-aaral ay pumasa, ang kanilang marka ay nasa katamtamang antas lamang. Gamit ang chi-square test, napatunayang walang makabuluhang ugnayan sa pagitan ng demographic profile at akademikong pagganap. Ipinapahiwatig nito na ang personal na katangian ng mga mag-aaral ay hindi sapat na batayan ng tagumpay sa pag-aaral. Sa halip, mas dapat bigyang-pansin ang mga pedagohikal at panlabas na salik gaya ng kalidad ng pagtuturo, suporta mula sa pamilya, at akses sa learning resources. Bilang tugon, iminungkahi ang programang pang-interbensyong “Tulong Aral: Isang Programang Pang-akademikong Suporta para sa mga Mag-aaral ng Open High School Program” na naglalayong palakasin ang kasanayan at kumpiyansa ng mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng remedial classes, learning journals, at interaktibong gawain. Ang pag-aaral na ito ay nagbibigay ng mahalagang ambag sa pagpapaunlad ng implementasyon ng OHSP at pagdisenyo ng mga programang nakatuon sa aktwal na pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral tungo sa edukasyong inklusibo at dekalidad.
