Teaching is widely recognized as a highly stressful profession. This study assessed the degree of work-related stressors among elementary school teachers in a medium-sized division in Southern Negros Island, Central Philippines, during the 2022–2023 school year to inform a psycho-social wellness plan. Data were gathered from 285 respondents through a validated and reliable self-made instrument. Most respondents were young, had lower educational attainment, and held lower plantilla positions. Findings revealed that teachers experienced a high degree of stress in terms of job demands, but only a low degree in interpersonal relationships and job roles. Regardless of age, educational attainment, or plantilla position, respondents consistently reported high stress in job demands and low stress in the other two areas. Statistical analysis confirmed no significant differences in stress levels based on demographic groupings, suggesting uniform perceptions of stress across all categories. Heavy workloads were a common stressor, while issues with colleagues or role clarity were less prominent.
